Nira Radia in Bollywood!

After created a huge national storm with her involvement in the Rs 1.76 lakh crore '2G' scam, Nira Radia is all set to enter Bollywood. Don't jump to conclusions, its not Nira Radia who is going to act in a movie, but drawing inspiration from her involvement a movie is being made on her life and work. Satchit Puranik, who earlier made B-grade film like 'Mr Ya Miss' has been roped in UK-based film production company 'Hiten Group' to direct this film. It is learnt that director of photography Mathew R Blute, who has made a mark in the Hollywood is also roped in to be part of the project.

The production house believes that when facts turn out to be stranger than fiction; making a film on these facts will certainly create interest among the audience. And Hiten Group has also finalized the name for the proposed movie which will be called "2G Radia-tion". A B-grade actress 'Poonam Jhawar' will play the lead role of Nira Radia in the film - this actress is known only for her B-grade photo shoots and films and item numbers.

Film's producer Manoj Nandwana recently even announced that this subject is entirely different from what is being dished out currently in the Bollywood. This subject has all the ingredients that go into making a thrilling and fun-filled movie. The movie will trace life of a young entrepreneur _ Radia _ to the times of making it to the national headlines with her involvement in the scam. The actress Poonam Jhawar, who is believed to resemble Nira Radia during a recent interview also confirmed her involvement in the project.

Broker - story of YSR & KVP?

Nira Radia - this is the name heard maximum number of times in the recent times. She has been in the news for all the wrong reasons and due to her proximity to power circles in Politics and in Business communities alike. She was the one who got Telecom portfolio for A. Raja of the DMK and she is the one who has lobbied for 2G spectrum for 'the Tata' and 'the Ambani' - two of biggest names in the world of business. Basically she played the role of a 'Broker' for people in power and for people who aspire to get power.

Down South in Andhra Pradesh and in the Telugu film industry, R P Patnaik is making film on this character called 'Broker'. R P Patnaik who started his career as a music director has been working on this story for a very long time. His tag line for the movie is that one person needs a job to be done and another looks at this need as an opportunity and between this 'Need' and 'Opportunity' stands the character called 'Broker'. Who mediates, facilitates, fixing, lobbies, brokers to get the work done and make his share from one or either sides in the process. This character called 'Broker' has a unique recognition across the world and has literally existed in every part of life.

The movie 'Broker' stars RP Patnaik himself along with Srihari. It is being said that Srihari plays a political leader while RP Patnaik plays his assitant who brokers various deals for his boss. It is being said that these two characters have been created with utmost care and not to hurt any sentiments.

But people who have been involved closely with the projects said that this is most likely the story of Late Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy, former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and his political advisor Dr. KVP Ramachandra Rao. It is widely known fact that while, YSR was ruling the State, it was KVP who was running the show from behind and even grew to the extent of being the shadow chief minister. Ministers, Politicians, MLAs, Bureaucrats, Industrialists and even common people used to look for KVP's mercy to get their job done. Even YSR used to process every act of his through KVP only.

While, this was a widely known fact - former Congress minister Konda Surekha recently called KVP 'a broker', this mention emphasizes the point how critical was the role of KVP during YSR regime. Percentages and shares to YSR and his family were always discussed through KVP.

Coming back to 'Broker' the movie RP Patnaik has certainly raised eyebrows across by making a movie on this subject and it is being said that the movie might run into some kind of political storm once it hits the screens across Andhra Pradesh shortly. Government sources state that the ruling side may not raise any kind of opposition to the movie to take a dig at YSR and his family.

Ranga The Donga - faction story?

After almost every hero worth his name, now its time of Srikanth to join the faction bandwagon! His next movie 'Ranga The Donga' which is all set for release is a story of factionism in which Srikanth played a double role - one as a thief and the other as a faction leader.

While, everyone thought time is over for faction related movies, this one comes promising a new angle to the same old story! Only time can tell if this movie has anything new to offer or not. Srikanth will be seen in a new and different look - though no thief will have such a look. The movie has Vimala Raman and Ramya Krishna playing the role of leading ladies opposite Srikanth.

RGV abuses K. Raghavendra Rao

Ram Gopal Varma who is known to touch upon controversial topics, has created a different kind of controversy by saying that he is better than K. Raghavendra Rao, who is one of the ace directors of Telugu cinema. RGV made these comments during an interview to a private TV new channels in Hyderabad. RGV who was being interviewed about his new film 'Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju' starring comedian Sunil in the lead role made certain comments which were not liked by K. Raghavendra Rao.

RGV, who made a mark in the Indian cinema with his remarkable works both in Telugu cinema and Hindi cinema. RGV even in his latest movie 'Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju' is making a song which is a direct dig at all the directors of Telugu cinema. The song starts with taking a dig at RGV himself and then shifts focus to other directors like: K. Raghavendra Rao who is known to make romantic movies; Puri Jagannath; VV Vinayak; SS Rajamouli etc.... The song almost hits out at every director worth his name in the Telugu cinema industry.
